I booked a king suite that is 900 square feet in size. This was for a family member wedding. Being that it Carrie’s the Regency name, I expected the usual Regency service.How mistaken was I! Stayed from July 1st through July 4th 2023.To start off, the lobby is small. The Checkin staff are not very helpful. There is no valet nor a bellman at the front entrance.No room serviceNo breakfast buffet on weekdaysNo housekeeping this is a deal breaker for me! I arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 PM. There were only a few people inside. I was seated right away near the window, but noticed the ledge next to the window was broken and in need of repairs. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The menu was limited. I ordered the eggplant, which turned out to be unexpectedly spicy. I was surprised as I don't enjoy spicy food, and would not have expected eggplant Parmesan to be spicy. My husband ordered the seafood pasta and also found it to be spicy, despite no mention of spiciness on the menu. Overall, we were disappointed with the food and experience and would not choose to dine at this restaurant again.
The restaurant was closed for construction but still allowed us to make a reservation. However, when we showed up, we found out they were closed. I reached out to OpenTable and their only response was that they would notify the restaurant. If OpenTable cannot see the gravity of making a reservation for a Saturday night, dressing up, and then discovering the restaurant is closed, then they should reconsider their business practices. I will not be using OpenTable or visiting Villa Christina again, and I will advise my friends to do the same.
The waitress was very personable. The decor was inviting. My cocktail was delicious. We were disappointed in the food. Bread was cold and hard; butter could not be spread. We ordered bruschetta and we received pita triangles and a jarred tomato-pepper spread. Awful. We would have ordered a salad but plate of greens was $9.00. My husband had to ask for more sauce for his pasta; my eggplant parmesan was not good: thick slices with skin still on, very heavy, nothing on the plate with it. Overall, not a good value. Will not be back.

Everything was very well organized. There were clear signs guiding us to our destination. The ballroom was beautifully decorated, and the staff provided efficient service. They readily accommodated all my requests. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. It was overly cooked and lacked flavor. The salad was the only highlight, and I'm still wondering about the dessert—it looked nice, but the taste was lacking. Despite the food issues, it was a lovely evening overall, and I really enjoyed myself!
We chose this restaurant in a hotel for its location close to an event we needed to attend nearby afterward. The restaurant was fairly quiet. We found the menu to be fairly pedestrian Italian. However, the dishes were well-executed and the service was quite pleasant. Joel was friendly and helpful, and when leaving the concierge was great about explaining the parking deck system which is in transition. We were pleased with our food, wine, service and the overall experience.
Hotel Starbucks was closed the first morning. Assumed the breakfast was continental at villa Christina. My mistake for not asking but also it was open seating with no signs of pricing listed and no hostess. It’s $20 pp for an extremely basic breakfast that usually comes with basic hotel. Room was fine. Lobby is nice. Hotel mostly quiet. Food and drinks at the bar were good.
The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect for a business lunch. There wasn't much noise, which was nice. However, the service was a bit lacking - nobody greeted or seated us when we arrived, so we had to find a table and seat ourselves.

Everything was nice, the staff was pleasant and on top of the service. The food was more than expected and we will be returning. Thank you for making this valentine’s day special and intimate for these busy parents!
