Villa Maria - Calgary

It's an okay place. They were from some beer I wanted, but the wine prices were generally ok. The appetizers were simply ok and nothing special, especially the quality of the ingredients. The nets were just okay. Most calf ordered on our table and it was hard, so I take a red calfs vs white. Again lower quality. The sauces on the calfs were good, but they were vaccinated on the accompanying veg and sides. For the price there are better places for Italian cuisine.

We have a last minute reservation for Mothers Day. Upon arrival they sat in the picturesque rooms, very cozy, which looked over 17th Avenue. We loved it. The food was great and the service was even better. We did not feel hurry, enjoyed our meals and our evening was intercepted with complementary Lemoncello. A great memory of our trip to Italy last year and all the wonderful comp-limoncello there. We will be back and recommend it to all!

Maria prepared us a beautiful meal. In fact we asked her just to feed us. Amazing food. And don't forget Danny. Excellent service good wine and family treatment.

The food was pretty good, but it was quite expensive for the portion sizes. We sat outside, which was very loud on 17. Ave was.

Pleasant atmosphere. Easily overpriced food that was good, but not great.
