Unfortunately, a thoroughly bad experience. First, the host had confused our booking of a double room with another booking of 2 single rooms. Next, upon arrival the host was extremely suspicious of my abilities to park our car. But I've also only had a driver's license for 50 years without an accident... After that, we could not get dinner on the spot, even though the host had said by phone a few hours earlier that we could find out on arrival. With only 5 rooms they should be prepared to cook for everyone at least offer e.g. an omelette if the whole dinner is not available. The room worked, but was very dark and totally cluttered. We spent a delightful night at this beautiful Chambres D’Hôtes. The house and gardens are really lovely and the owner Charles us very friendly and welcoming. We had orders an evening meal in advance which was €30pp including a soft drink, wine could be purchased as an extra by the bottle or glass. The meal was delicious and they prepared a lovely vegetarian salad for me. It was a lovely evening and we ate in the garden. Breakfast is also available at an extra charge, it was delicious and there were lots of choices. We definitely recommend staying here and we will return for two nights so we can explore the area.
We discovered this bed and breakfast by chance on our trip to France. Luckily one has to say, because Charles and his house are an asset! We felt comfortable from the first moment and we have our host to thank for that. The house speaks for itself, Charles' tips for excursions are valuable and if we're ever again sur la route vers la mer, we'll definitely stop by. Thank you very much for the nice hours! Rooms: 5
A stunning place to stay, the host Charles, couldn’t have been more welcoming. Very comfortable bed, beautifully decorated, highly recommend and we will definitely be going back. Location is perfect as a stop over if travelling to or from uk, a mile or so from the motorway, east to find. Perfect 10/10 Rooms: Very comfortable, lovely sheets, beautifully decorated. Venu pour un déplacement professionnel je ne connaissais pas cette adresse Avec mon papa nous avons été très bien accueilli. Merci à la gentille dame de l’accueil et du propriétaire pour leurs sympathies , des personnes très charmantes tout comme ce lieu qui est juste splendide. Nice little castle, but very dark room with far too much furniture. Reading lights were missing. The place could become a fantastic gem with a little tidying up inside/outside, and more structure at check in, kitchen and staff. Possibility of charging an electric car at a very expensive rate! Bon accueil. Magnifique bâtisse. Arrivée à 20h35 facturée 10€. Chambre très spacieuse et confortable. Sympa l'idée de douches!
