Located next to Lake Zug, the restaurant really have many things going for them. It is easy to understand why it is a facility often used for weddings. The restaurant is unfortunately quite dark and not well maintained. The rooms look like something you would be seeing in a rural area in an underdeveloped country...... this made the initial impression when getting inside, a bit negative. Quality of the food was however good, and we all were very satisfied with the meal we had a three course dinner with different options ranging from carpaccio of deer, pork fillet and panna cotta as desert. No complaints on the food from my side! NOTE: Try some of the Swiss red wine we tried one from the Ital...
The restaurant is beautifully located, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent. My restricted diet due to health reasons was taken into account and the result was a delight! But our romantic evening came to an abrupt end when we were startled awake by blinding light shortly after 10 p.m. We don't quite understand why the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. on such a beautiful, warm summer evening. A brief bit of information at the table would also have been much more charming.
