What's awesome about the Village Baker is, it's directly connected to their very own restaurant, same building. The Canolies, mini or large are clearly made right there and the a ajoining eatery of amazing yummy entrees breakfast and lunch, maybe supper too tho we only had Canolies to go, and breakfast there, 2 days later. Their other baked goods are homemade, fresh daily and de-li-cious!!! Easy on your wallet too. Locally, it's a favorite amongst old folks. Great foodies for all ages and very accommodating, are they. Go there, do that, you'll be glad you did !!! Ample parking is behind the restaurant/bakery.

This place has a charming atmosphere and a delightful setting, but it feels overly congested with the activity inside. We absolutely enjoy the food and bakery items, but we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our meals after placing our order. Our mimosas were served first, and we assumed our food would follow shortly, but instead, we found ourselves stuck in a noisy and crowded restaurant, feeling quite uncomfortable. At one point, we even had to step outside just to take a breather. I’d love to return, but I’m hesitant to spend nearly two hours waiting.

We found The Village Baker in the Shoreline magazine and decided to check it out. It’s a very cute bakery! We bought cranberry bread and cinnamon raisin bread- very tasty!! The food was delicious! We had some bowls and a classic hamburger. But what I enjoyed most was the good service from the host and the waiter Enrique. Both were very attentive! Thank you for a good experience!

in town from lake geneva, wi — what a GREAT breakfast spot! leeann was our server — EXCELLENT service! my friend and i shared the veggie quiche and the cinnamon roll french toast — both were VERY good. we sat outside on the patio which was clean and bug-free! would definitely return! Charming little spot in Spring Lake. They offer a very diverse menu and a great selection of drinks. The atmosphere and service were both excellent. The food was certainly good, although nothing exceptional. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend it.

Great atmosphere, great food, and exceptional service. The owners and bakers have remarkable ideas, fantastic twists and phenomenal flavor. Scones, cinnamon rolls, breads and breakfasts ate hands down, AWESOME!

Some of the best German food we'd ever had plus the pizza was outstanding. This place is a real gem! We're foodies and HIGHLY recommend.

Their focaccia bread, from the bakery, warmed up in the oven was perfect for our italian dinner we had.

Stopped by for desserts. Cake was good, cookies were decent, tried a little bit of everything.
