The management seems incompetent. I placed my order on March 2nd—not February 25th. I did attempt to call, only to be met with a busy signal, and my online order was confirmed with an estimated wait time of one hour. When I arrived, I saw two employees wrapping up for the night; it didn't appear to be busy at all. Perhaps there is an issue with your online ordering system or phone lines, but there are no excuses since your staff mentioned that “the boss” had looked at my order. Why wasn’t I contacted? It’s simply poor management, evidenced by the lack of correct details regarding the order date and the inability to explain why I wasn’t informed.
Incredible BBQ! Absolutely delicious! As a rib enthusiast, I tried both the pork baby backs and the beef ribs on my first visit, along with a variety of sides: baked beans, mac and cheese, sweet potato fries, and green beans. The massive beef rib was bursting with flavor and incredibly tender, falling right off the bone. The baby backs were generously coated in a delightful BBQ sauce that was flavorful without being overly sweet. Randy, the owner and chef, was very friendly, and my order was prepared on time. Overall, it was an excellent experience!
During my second visit, I tried the turkey wings, collard greens, and baked mac and cheese, and I was thoroughly impressed with the flavors. For dessert, I had the banana pudding and also tried the carrot cake this time. I'm completely satisfied and plan to bring some of my church friends, especially the Bishop. As a first-time visitor today, I ordered two meats with two sides, and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the brisket and chicken, paired with collard greens, sweet yams, and cornbread. The meat was the most tender I've ever had—moist and bursting with flavor. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere also a 4.
The brisket was fantastic, and the mac and cheese paired perfectly with the collard greens. The cornbread was so moist and delicious, it felt like eating cake. I can't wait to return and try the chopped BBQ. It's a wonderful hidden gem in North Bellmore!
The rib sandwich was phenomenal and will definitely bring me back to try more! The Mac and cheese was always full of flavor and I would recommend it!
