Family of 3 booked in for afternoon tea. Staff were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. Really made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea was delicious, food was plentiful and the coffee and tea was refilled often. Sandwiches were freshly made after we had chosen our fillings. Scones were delicious, the Parmesan one and the cherry and coconut one were really nice. We all enjoyed the little trifles too, and had to bring our huge slices of carrot cake and brownie home with us as we were stuffed! Toilet was immaculate, lovely touch having nappies etc in there. Thank you for spoiling us, we loved it.
Lovely little cafe. Lots of choice for eat in or take away. Plenty tables. Parking directly outside. We had scrambled egg toast and a full breakfast. Really tasty. Very large portion. Great value for money. Nice ambience. Lovely little team serving. Beth the lady running it was very professional and full of knowledge. Turns out she also does outside catering for events. Which I will definitely look in to with her. Even brought some cakes home with us. Totally enjoyable trip out to a great little place which we definitely will be back
I first heard about this hidden gem of a restaurant from a friend. Beth, the owner, is fantastic. I arranged for her to cater a function for 55 people in Tyne Mouth and I was blown away by her creativity and delicious food. I also tried her brunch menu and cakes – they were amazing. I will definitely be returning for more brunch and booking her for more events. My friend has used her for catering several times and has always been impressed, so I wanted to give her a try as well.
My daughter booked a birthday treat for me, her, and my grandson at this lovely and pleasant cafe. The staff were wonderful and the afternoon tea was delicious with a great selection of freshly made treats and unlimited tea and coffee. We went on Saturday 18/8/19 for Afternoon tea. I took my cousin who was up from surrey and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Our food was lovely and fresh, we had a good selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Will be definitely going again.
It's the 2nd time I have been with a family member for afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. It's nice to have a choice of a good selection of sandwiches. Scones were beautiful and a lovely selection of cakes too. We will definitely be back
