To make matters worse, an older gentleman who came in 30 minutes after I did and ordered takeout received his pizzas and left. While I understand that they were overwhelmed, I was literally waiting in the restaurant, and no one bothered to provide me with an update or even apologize. Another customer became frustrated and managed to get his pizzas. I didn't take my anger out on the staff but unfortunately misdirected it at my wife, which was unfair.
I'm writing this review to express my frustration. I won’t be returning, as this experience ruined my Halloween. There were dozens of pizzas sitting on the top of the oven, and yet I ended up with nothing—I guess I wasn't considered important....
Let me just say; Living in New York for years and living the rest of my life in Northern Jersey, when I moved to Monmouth County I was disappointed by a lot of other pizza establishments. I happened to stumble upon Village Maria and was impressed from thefirst bite. Their pizza is authentic and has amazing flavors. Food is always ready within 15-20 minutes and comes out hot! Ihave tried over 20 menu items and have yet to find one that doesn't meet my standards of food made with passion. Even theirpasta dishes are to die for! I definitely recommend trying this place out and seeing for yourself! Favorite dishes sofar: Plain Pizza Vodka Parm Wrap Buffalo Pizza or just anything they cook!
My sisters and I visited for lunch. They had pizza and crispy ceaser chicken wrap,and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. I am not a sandwich person but I have to say my sandwich was the best everything was fresh the chicken tender and tasty the bread wascrispy and delicious ????. We ate indoors the service was great. We definitely would be going back for lunch.
I quickly stopped by for a bite to eat during the day, but the pizza tasted like it was a day old. The restaurant seemed unclean, and the atmosphere was uninviting, as were the staff. Since it was my first visit, I can't comment on whether this is a frequent problem, but if I'm ever in the area again, I definitely won't return.

FINALLY!!! GOOD PIZZA IN NJ! After living in New Jersey for 12 years, I’ve finally discovered an amazing pizzeria! The sauce is well-seasoned, the cheese is flavorful, and the crust is perfectly crispy. If you're in search of New York-style pizza, this is the spot to hit!
The Caesar wrap was decent, but the eggplant rolatini was quite disappointing. The garlic bread lacked any garlic flavor. The biggest issue, however, was the delivery driver who didn't understand English, which made it really difficult to get the correct change back.
The village pan pizza is heavenly! Don't overlook Village Maria. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and their delivery service is excellent!
The pizza has a great crust and the delivery was quick. We really enjoy this place as our local pizza delivery spot.

The girl at the front was very sweet and helpful ! Pasta , pizza , and fries are 10/10 !
