Village Pantry - Reservar una mesa

My husband and I went there twice last week. Our first visit, we ordered corn beef on Rye with a bowl of beef noodle soup. Our order came, Waiter was polite, nice and accommodating (allergies). Our food arrived, the corn beef sandwich was Not corn beef, it was beef. Waiter was busy, so we ate our beef sandwiches and soup. When the waiter came to the table I asked if that was corn beef or beef, he responded with I will have to look at what I wrote, "BEEF", he says don't worry I will only charge you for whichever is cheaper, oh they're the same price. It wasn't offered to fix it. BUT the food was good. We decided to take my parents out for sunday breakfast because the food was good and it was a different place to try for breakfast. My mother wanted bacon, homefries, and toast, NO EGG. My Mother shows the waitress a photo on the menu and says I want this without the egg. Waitress says, Oh that is only a picture we don't serve that. After talking back and forth what my Mother wanted, I finally took the menu and said she wants this breakfast, but don't bring the egg, don't even cook the egg. She had a time trying to figure that out, she says so cook the egg and you will take it home, I said no don't cook an egg, just leave the egg in your kitchen. Finally she understood. Again all our food was great, ....just need a little improvement on the communication, or offer to fix mistakes. Mistakes happen.

I consider myself a burger expert of sorts. I don't know where to start with this one. The presentation was amazing and it was well crafted (we eat with our eyes first so I was off to a good start). This burger was massive, the bacon was nice and thick and really kicked it up a notch. Bun was toasted and fresh. Price point was fantastic. What a value. My kids had pizza and chicken nuggets off the kids menu and they were very happy, you can tell the nuggets were made with real chicken and not the processed stuff. Oh, and the fries were awesome. I couldn't be happier, the burger is a solid 10/10. Can't wait to come back. (BTW I'm stuffed). Service was great too. What a hidden little gem.

I've always liked family style restaurants and this is an excellent example. The food and service are very good and the prices are reasonable.It's not fancy but if you just want a good meal at a reasonable price this is the place.I've been several times and plan on going again.

Table by a window, no rush, food not expensive but very good. Large diner type menu. We sat and talked , nice waitress and no rush!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the special of the day. Very tasty and homemade.
