Villandry - Reservar una mesa

We visit Dresden every year and always make sure we dine at Villandry at least once whilst we are there. It has become a particular favourite of ours.If you are staying in a hotel in the Old Town....and most of the big hotels are situated there...., it is a little difficult to reach as it's a little walk across the Augustus Bridge to this part of the town.Also this is an area full of bars and clubs mostly for young Dudes ! However don't be put off by almost every wall being covered in graffiti ! Dining here is worth itThe restaurant itself is stylish and comfortable. The tables are comfortably set apart and the atmosphere and ambience here is nice. Villandry does seem a favourite for young nice looking local German couples !The menu is in German and is written on a large blackboard. Coming from the U.K. our German language skills are pretty limited....however the staff here are kind and efficeint and will drag the board to your table and interpret the entire menu. They are very patient !The food cooked here is delicious and clever and beautifully presented. Also a nice selection of glasses of wine as my Missus doesn't drink alcohol.In our opinion, this is one of the nicest restaurants in a city that is full of pretty bland ones aimed at the many tourists.We aim to return each year.

Wir haben das Restaurant spontan besucht und trotzdem wurde eine Möglichkeit gefunden das wir bleiben um das tolle Menü zu genießen.Keine Karte, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Wir haben alle Varianten probiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service wechselte, daher hatten wir eine Dame die uns nicht unbedingt das Gefühl gab willkommen zu sein und einen Herren der alles wett machte. Seine tollen Weinvorschläge und seine unaufdringliche herzliche Art machten diesen Abend zu einem sehr gelungenen.

Villandry var rigtig godt anmeldt på Trip Advisor, så vi valgte at starte vort ophold i Dresden med en middag på denne restaurant. Det var et klogt valg! Det viste sig at denne aften var premiere for en ny ejer og nyt personale. Og det tegner lovende. Virkelig dejlig mad, smukt anrettet, og en rigtig god service. Priserne er meget rimelige - her får man value for money. Jeg kan varmt anbefale dette sted.

Service manchmal im Stress, sonst kann man nicht meckern. Halt überlaufen und preislich im Mittelfeld.Insgesamt scheint das Konzept aufzugehen. Jedenfalls immer voll, wenn wir dort sind, die Qualität ist okay, wenn auch manchmal wechselhaft.Nicht jeder Koch kocht gleich.Und es kocht nicht immer derselbe Koch.Das scheint die Ursache zu sein.

Nettes Restaurant mit ambitionen, aber die reserven könnten mal ausgegraben werden. Ds Essen war gut und wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir im Sommer wieder in Dresden sind kommen wir gerne vorbei.
