Had a drink and spontaneous dinner with a friend. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (for the fantastic view and eating in the Zug area). The service was attentive, only three tables were taken due to the bad weather. All in all a good experience, but can understand that this might be different when crowded...
Great location, lovely venue and not a bad place - not great but definitely not bad. Service was mostly ok however one of the staff members wasn't keen for us to sit on the terrace if we wanted to eat as the rain was coming and she didn't want her hair to get wet. Interesting guest service philosophy but hey ho.
The nice views of their garden hides the fact that the service is horrible probably because they hire inexperienced people and probably underpaid, that's the only reason I can think of to justify their rudeness. The food was acceptable although overpriced. If you can, avoid this place!
We regularly go to the Villa Villette whether it is for coffee and croissant in the morning, lunch or dinner. It has such a great outlook that it has a huge advantage over others. The food is always good and the service pushes the experience to 5 stars. See you again soon.
