Sad experience. We went for lunch to celebrate my Dad's 83rd birthday. The food, for most in the group, was subpar. My particular dish was very disappointing at best. I had the chicken scaloppini, and it was a very small portion served luke warm, with more egg than chicken. It seemed like they pounded a 4oz chicken breast then coated it in eggs and fried it. Way too much egg on the chicken. As disappointing as the food was, the service was much worse. Our server was a young man, mid 20s, who didn't seem to want to be there. We had not been here for several years and we thought we would come back. In the past, we found the food and service good, the wine list acceptable, and a well dressed upscale group of patrons. On this visit, we had great service (Michelle pulling double duty as our server and bartender). The menu had a nice variety (the calamari shortage continues); we started with the Carpaccio. For our entrees, she chose the chicken parm; I the lamb (medium rare). After studying the wine list through the appetizer, we were made aware that none of our choices were in stock and had not been for some time (very irritating). They were out of the calamari appetizer so I ordered the octopus. It was served cold along with the artichoke app (barely warm). The risotto was good but they sold it as truffled. You could barely taste any black truffle or truffle oil. Overall I was very disappointed as this restaurant was always so good in the past. I will think twice before going again

Shelby our waitress was spectacular! I ordered the lobster pasta- the pasta seemed a little dense- lobster and sauce were flavorful. Other dish was grouper and risotto- I felt the risotto could have been slightly more flavorful. I felt the tiramisu could have had slightly more of a coffee flavor but it was good. We reserved outside seating which was great considering the crowd inside. The fresh bread was delicious. The lasagna was excellent. My special of the night was salmon, shrimp, mussels was bland. Two other friends had the same dish and liked it. Christine, our server, was Great

The ambient, the menu, the food…amazing The server attending our table tho was a little too much, he was anxious about getting our order, and later we tried 5 times to get our payment, while we were still eating and chatting…he was a little anoying

A quick pick restaurant turned into one of the most romantic dates I’ve ever taken my spouse on. Will absolutely be recommending Vinny’s
