Vino's Indian Dhaba

There is something about the suburbs. Perhaps it is all the migrants getting started that there are so many little restaurants in the suburbs, unprepossessing to look at, easily driven past, that cook good food. This is another example. Why 'Vinos' when it is an Indian restaurant? - not sure, but it doesn't matter. We have now eaten there a couple of times and enjoyed it both times. Very laid-back manner, but the service was good on both occasions. Good variety of food for the suburban setting - not all just dialled back for an anglo-taste. Also something beyond just butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. We particularly liked the vegetarian sections, and the dosa on the South Indian Menu....

If you are used to Australian Indian food this may not be the place for you...i saw other reviews saying curry tastes strange ...yes they use real curry leaves and turmeric.It is a simple place and has a huge Indian following .The prices are also extremely reasonable.....so dont expect a glitzy Punjabi palace inside . The meat is tender .I have eaten here over 50 times .My favourite is the Dosa.....vegetarian AND gluten free.If you want REAL Indian food ....this is the place.Yes staff have limited English but that's the price you pay for authenticity .I originally came because a review criticized English skills .

This is not the most posh place you'd come across, but the food makes for it big time. Yes there's lack of staff (we ever saw two people, who takes orders,cook and deliver ) and a bit of a wait as well as broken English - but this place is great value for money. Make sure you speak slowly and confirm the order and be patient for the food to come, you'd sure to be surprised with the quality of food and the price you pay for it.

Shan Mugam's dosas still have number one spot for me .I had some very good dosas away recently in Sri Lanka ...but I was here on my third night back in Adelaide . So near the airport...Airport Road ....a very delicious but healthy trap .Regards SM : the paper dosa lady ! Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant is nothing flash inside. But the quality of the food is of a high standard. The cheese nahn is delicious. Dishes are very spicy and tasty. Best Indian food ever. The staff are humble and friendly.

Love the Indian food there. We get takeaway quite often and have never been disappointed. Servings are generous and always fresh. The menu has something for everyone.

Love this place. The best cheese and garlic Naan. A true hidden gem. The butter chicken and palak ghosh are our favourite mains.
