I am born in Dachau but live in the U.S. Short visit, but found some time to go out for dinner with my dad and an old friend. I wasn't sure if I could trust the reviews on trip advisor, as I haven't had great results during my last trip to France and Germany. But my friend confirmed that this was a nice place ( and also some of the other restaurants with good ratings in Dachau).I like to eat German / Bavarian when I visit, this being Austrian still fits that :). On a very cold raining Saturday night last month we found this little restaurant after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor. We only had one night in Dachau and to be honest we were expecting the usual Bavarian fare, but were we pleasantly surprised. The food was so fresh and delightfully different with beautiful subtle flavours. My husband and I both ordered the fish which was served with beautiful homemade picked ginger. The infusion of flavours was perfect and so different from any other meal we had while in Europe. We then followed this with the apple strudel which was also light and delicious. very cozy, beautifully renovated monumental building, very tasty, superior class, good weinecher. in the summer necessarily feed once in the delightful garden. Corona update: are still regular guests and enjoy the wonderful tasty home. also the bottle of smiling frizzante must not be missing. the ambiente is not comparable to the steirer, but if you have a little effort, you can eat at home stylishly. again and again the highlight of the week! mai 21: superlckere appetizer: heal butter and salmon with washabiobers and strudltascherl with Pak-Choi-fill, as main dish lammhaxerl with kartoffel burin and fine vegetables: very recommended!
Ristorante molto carino con piacevoli tavolini all'aperto. Personale molto cortese, attento e rapido. Abbiamo cenato mangiando un ottimo piatto a base d'anatra, verdure e finferli freschi. Carta dei vini discretamente fornita. Non so se hanno dolce e caffè perché non ci é stato proposto ma forse era un po' tardi per le abitudini tedesche. Nel complesso esperienza molto positiva che ripeteremo sicuramente se capiteremo da queste parti.

We wanted a restaurant within walking distance to the depot. Read other reviews and knew this was the place to go. The staff was receptive and warm. The menu is fresh, innovative and interesting. The flavor was like nothing I've ever tasted before. Pleasant, tastefully displayed. The mixture of texture and flavor was exceptional. I am no food critic, but as my second meal of a ten day trip to Germany, I can say it was my favorite.
the best restaurant in dachau! have never eaten badly here. the menu was excellent from the small greeting from the kitchen to dessert. the wee have also very well adapted to the respective courses. I always like to come!

this place has a phenomenal menu. eating brings you to a ride you don't believe. it looks wonderful and aromen cover almost all taste palate. with friends and so a roll-cao of taste.
