Restaurant serves traditional German fare. Indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived at about 6:30 pm on a Friday night and while they were fairly full were able to immediately seat our party of 3 without a reservation. Staff primarily spoke German; however, our server spoke a little English. There was a little bit of a delay in our food arriving; however, they warned us upfront that a large party had just dropped their orders right before us and that it would take a little longer than usual. Prices were reasonable (10-15 Euros per person). A quite satisfactory place!

Have been in this lovely Café several times. They have a nice variety of wines and for lunch a good, short but beautiful selection of food. Most important is the wine - as everywhere in Rheinhessen. You can buy on spot just like 6/12/24 bottles of wine for absolutely cheap prices! I love to go to this spot when ever I am in Alzey

during a weekend of training in alzey I discovered the imperial garden for me. the price/performance ratio is perfect. I chose carving and bratkartoffeln to make a classic giant. the menu and also the wine offer was clear, but there was something for everyone. the service was excellent and very friendly. more recommended

Modern restaurant with very good german food and great friendly service. A bit boring winelist for a vinothek, with mainly cheap table wines. Great foodvalue

We ate both lunch and dinner here. Food was very fresh and nicely prepared. Prices were reasonable. Good wine also. Highly recommend.
