We dined here on a recommendation from our hotel, it was unusually hot in Nancy around 38c so the thought of dining in a cellar sounded like a good idea. We were also told they had an extensive wine list which as it turns ours Is not really the case, however they do have a good selection it's by no means extensive. All the meals seam to served on some form of bread which while different still proved very tasty. The waitress and manager had limited English and they do not have English menus which may be a problem for those with limited French. We enjoyed a shared salad with a mixture of seafood and foie gras followed by the scallops and dessert of pears and caramel and rhubarb and ice cream,...

A bit different to the rest. In a vaulted cellar in an interesting area of town, very accessible by public transport.Delivers just what it says. But the tartines are not all bread-based and include an imaginative selection of sometimes unexpected mixes. Both savoury and sweet varieties. The wine list (it's also,a wine merchant) is extensive and there are suggestions as to what to drink with your chosen food!Good ambiance without being too noisy although the tables are a little too close together in parts.Delightful and attentive staff from a wide variety of countries, good value and to be highly recommended.

I was not sure what a full course tartine would mean and our french food vocabulary is embarrassing so we were open to a surprise. We started with the smoked salmon tartine which was very good and enough for 2. My husband had the days special of Faux filet de boeuf snacke. The overall presentation was nice but the beef could/should have been more tender. The sauce was good and actually would have been more appropriate for my filet de bar. Overall the ambiance was nice and the service was great but the food was unique in presentation but not as tasty as it could have been.

Nice place, a part of the restaurant is located in a cellar. The very smiling and friendly server team. We were very welcome! The concept is simple and the combination of some original products. Only flat, the wine is expensive that makes the ratio quality/price not very good... and the dishes are to my taste much too salty Think of booking because the place is not very big Reserva una mesa ahora

A caviste that makes you discover in its vaulted restaurant (old chapel) in the cellar of delicious tasty pies. Let your choices guide you with your tastes to accompany your dish (here pie foie gras with mango chutney and a proposal of a very good to an Anjou wine). A warm welcome, we take care of you and it's good. I'll be right back. Very affordable!

My husband chose this place for dinner on my birthday. He asked to reserve a rosé champagne for us to toast the date. The place is beautiful! The service is excellent and the food is delicious! The desserts are perfect and the coffee comes with a piece of cake. It couldn't have been a nicer night.

This restaurant is very nice and the decor (in the cave) is pleasant.The 'tartines' small pieces of bread upon which you add spreads are very tasty and the wine suggestion per plate is great.Nice selection of starters, main courses and desserts.. the liqueur list is also very impressive
