Vintage House Restaurant at Messina Hof

Our server was spot on, present without hovering. She did a great job with the cherries jubilee flambé! I had eggs Benedict, yummy with the port wine Hollandaise. Very rich, would’ve been better with spinach on the side or a side salad. Also had meatball appetizer a little bland. The oil herbs served with the bread could use some salt there was none in the table. Others had monte cristo sandwich (no complaints! and chicken waffles (chicken wasn’t crispy . Overall very nice experience in as close as we’ll get to wine country in Texas.

The ambiance was marginal. The decor was sparse and dark. Lighting was stark. The food was adequate. My pasta was barely warm. I sent it back to be reheated. The taste of the pasta was good! The wine pairing with the pasta was excellent! My husband’s ribeye was tasty, the vegetable was very crunchy.

Our meal was absolutely delicious! Madeline our server was very knowledgeable in not only the menu but with wine selections which complemented our meal beautifully. The atmosphere was delightful, a nice quite, get away from the bustle of the day and relax place.

I took my wife for a dinner date. The food was excellent, as well as our server Ema. She ordered the Gorgonzola Steak Pasta and I had the Grilled Ribeye. For dessert she had the cheesecake and I had the bananas foster. We will definitely come again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice restaurant right next to the vineyard. Very friendly staff, excellent food, excellent wines. The value was great for the price. I highly recommend it.
