Not greeted at door. Couldn’t find reservation. Very “novice” waitperson. Lobster croquettes MAYBE had lobster in them. Duck rillettes VERY tasty as was the Cottonbell cheese. One ordered plate never came (removed from check). Uneven portion to price cost (makes it difficult to decide how many small plates to order, especially if sharing). Noise level was OVERWHELMING, making conversation impossible. Couldn’t believe I was in downtown Charleston!

Very good ambiance. Located on King street which is getting busier these days but we went on a week night and had the place to ourselves. The cheese fondue platter was generous. The menu was clearly explained to us along with a few suggestions after finding out our tastes. Prices are very reasonable for a date night and the quality of the food was very good. So was the wine and cocktail. We both agreed we will definitely return
I later learned from Nathan that the website was outdated by four years and the menu had changed post-covid. Unfortunately, they were unable to update the information on Google's website. A lesson learned to not rely on Google for accurate information. Despite this, I must mention that the drinks and charcuterie board were exceptional and deserving of a 5-star review. We rolled into Vintage to grab a drink while waiting for our table and it was one of the best decisions we made. We hit happy hour and I had the Bloodroot Pinot Noir and my wife had the Chenin Blanc. Both were excellent wines and our bartender was very sweet and social and it was a really nice experience!
The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, and the staff is even better! I described my preference for wine, and they brought me the perfect glass. Merilee was a delightful server and Nathan was a knowledgeable sommelier.
I’ve lived in Charleston for 10 years and never have I ever had a worse experience in my life. Save your money. Garbage customer service. Watch out for the stupid front of house staff. Trash
