Invited here one evening, I was surprised in many ways. First of all the location, where you enter the restaurant through a very inconspicuous entrance leading into an old cellar. The entrance as such is cold and dreary, but as soon as you enter the restaurant the atmosphere is cosy and homely.Secondly when presented from the menu - at first glance it looks like a glossy menu from a chain restaurant and does not imminently leads to the thoughts of culinary surprises.This is, however, wrong. My friend and I visited here and were amazed at the wide selection of food available and a good price. At the suggestion of a previous Tripadvisor reviewer, my friend ordered the steak while I tried the Schwabian plate with authentic tasting kaesespaetzle. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked, the pork delicious, and the wine pairings enhanced the experience. We also shared the hot raspberry ice cream dessert - very sour, which was to our taste. This place has it all....great, no excellent, food, staff and service. We've gone two nights in a row now. The menu is huge and varied and best of all, offered in English! Its location is easy to find, its an old wine cellar. This restaurant is affiliated with Hotel Stadt across the river which is where we are having a relaxing stay.
This restaurant offers a great choice of high quality meats and very good wines. I've been there several times and have nothing but praise for the kindness of service and delicious, straightforward food. Go for the beaf steaks or the pork chops, and drink a delicious Malbec with them. Very good value for money, the best in town.

We were 6 of us for dinner last night. Great atmosphere, typical German! we had different type of main courses and I have to admit all we had has been delicious! Meat, spätzle, schnitzel, beer and the dessert have been well above our optimistic expectations! Well done guys!
The restaurant is is in a very interesting location, an old cellar. The restaurant is specialized in steaks and the food is ok. The service could be improved. In the sense that there are (like nearly everywhere in Germany) way to less waitresses.
This restaurant have the best steak i ever had.Simple menu, all taste fresh, price very good.I did give 3 point because seem not kids friendly, there is no kids menu.And seem this restaurant not suitable for family.
Great escape from the cold weather this week. Menu offered delicious local plates. Don't miss the local noodles . They taste lovely near the great meet. Definitely will come back next time in tuttlingen.

Portions are huge, tons of flavor. Make a reservation. We sat at the bar but still got great service. I had the skewers which had 2 bake potatoes. My husband got the ribeye. Highly recommend!
Went there after many years, food was good big portions and service was friendly. Very busy which gave the place a nice vibe.
