Thank you for bringing back the seafood boulliabase!!! It is lovely and I have missed it for a while now. But it does need to be a soup not a vege dish. Mine was very tasty just a little crunchy and dry.He had the veal cultlet - medium. Very tasty but not medium rather very rare. He ate it of course, despite staff offering to take it to the kitchen to repair.So chefs, this is all for you. Your wait staff are second to none and advertise and promote your food to us very well. We have excellent table service and ambiance, the food is more often excellent, occasionally ordinary. Thanks for your great service Suzie, Taylor, Kayla, Jodie and Karen.
The food here is usually very good, we know as we have eaten here many times.Tonight I ordered the seafood bouillabaisse, for the Nth time and it was very disappointing. It had 2 prawns, 2 small mussels and some small fish pieces. The menu says it has prawns, salmon, scallops and other fish, which is what I have had many many times. I asked the staff about the mussels (as I hate them and would not have ordered the dish if I knew). I was told that they were scallops with roe on!!!!!! After eating seafood for 59 years, I can tell the difference. Poor form chefs, you make front of house staff carry your dropped load.
The kids pizza was okay, but the bacon amd bocconcini penne were hard to send down. The pasta was floating on a watery sauce that tasted like it had three tablespoons of sugar in it. Pasta should be al dente, instead it was quite soft and kept breaking and falling off the fork. If you're coming for a meal, stick to the kids pizza, or else two minute noodles at home tastes better.
Located in the Caloundra RSL premises, Aura has had a refit with their windows which now slide open and the fresh air and breeze are welcoming on a "good weather" night.Wait staff were friendly and efficient (although one fellow was new but he did try hard). Food was really nice - especially enjoyed the Salmon.We'll be back!

Visited for lunch on Tuesday 2nd May. We went with friends for lunch and a catch up. The menu has changed since our last visit and they now have a variety of meals, some small serves or a regular size, prices reflect the actual size. Couldn't fault todays visit.
Visited for dinner on Friday 17th February. There has been an increase in meal prices and the meal sizes seemed smaller. We are members of RSL so get a discount with food and drink. Still a great venue and great place for people to enjoy themselves.
Visited for dinner on Tuesday 18th October. We had friends visiting and decided to bring them to the RSL for dinner. Our meals were great and the drinks icy cold at a reasonable price. Our friends were very impressed with the night out.
When we were at the RSL last night we notice that this part of club was closed. There was a notice saying they were going to reopen soon with a new dining experience, hope they bring back their full table service restaurant Aura.

Felt like a snack whilst waiting for friends to join us later for dinner. Very tasty toastie - turkey, cranberry and camembert with chips - delicious. Friendly courteous staff.
Great for a main meal or just a BBQ on Sundays, casual atmosphere good food and great staff and good prices
