Vinimos a Vives como un grupo de 9 amigos. Nos sentaron en una mesa con cubiertos insuficientes, así que le pedí al camarero otro juego. Groseramente me informó que solo tenía 2 manos.... a partir de ahí todo empeoró. Visited this restaurant with my mum as the menu looked lovely. I ordered a squid ink pasta dish with seafood, and mum ordered the lasagne. The lasagne had virtually no pasta or meat, basically just a dish of cheese and tomato sauce! That was bad enough, but I started eating my dish which seemed pretty good until I peeled the langoustine which was grey, mushy and smelled awful. I quietly called the waiter over, and told him the langoustine was off. He said 'this is seafood, this is the way it is! ' What?? this was the first place we ate on our visit to lloret de mar, we chose it because it looked lovely an we thought the food must be good also, my husband ordered the fish dish of the day with potatoes i ordered grilled prawns with salad, a half bottle of house wine and a large beer, after a long wait food arrived. a tinyportion of fish with half a mediumpotatoe an a spoonfulof some veg for my husband , eight prawms with shellsfor me with a little shredded lettuce, on peeling the shells i found that the prawns were only partially cooked, i told the waiter who said thats how spanish people eat them, he took them and brought them back cooked on another plate minus the salad, my husband asked for...
Travelling with 11 friends we decided on this restaurant on the boulevard. Looked quite enough to accomodate us and had a nice admosphere. This turned around when the waiting came around. Maybe it has late in the season or he got some bad news before, but this guy really made a mess. He gave us the feeling we should thank him we were allowed to sit down for diner. We did not feel welcome at all. As we were hungry, we stayed. But we shouldn't have. The service continued to be terrible and the food was not fresh. Buscamos un lugar para comer y cuando vimos la terraza con vistas a la playa, con buen ambiente y decoración nos atrajo. Miramos la carta y miramos bien y no parecía demasiado caro para la zona. el personal era muy atento, rápido y agradable. Pedimos una tapa que, entre dos, se hizo grande. Y una cuna y una hamburguesa. todo viene con su guarnición. No pedimos postre porque estábamos llenos. para tener en cuenta por qué había buenas opciones y estaba ansioso por ordenar la tapa. más bebidas y cafés subieron hasta 40€
Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso comiendo aquí. Los platos principales estaban muy buenos aunque no eran enormes. Sin embargo, los postres eran excelentes, con una gran variedad y deliciosos. Definitivamente recomendaría darle una visita a este lugar. Relativamente económico y con un personal amigable.
I used the Wi-Fi whilst drinking coffee at the Vives restaurant as it is only a couple of minutes walk from the the hotel Maeva. Great service service, polite staff, nice white coffee. I never tried the food. The lager was OK.
Lovely spot with beautiful views and traditional Spanish fare, the Parma ham looks very special as well and it is a well worn favourite who locals as well as tourists. We shared the black ink squid and it was delicious.

La comida es la mejor en el paseo de la playa. Tiene un alma diferente a la mayoría de los otros restaurantes en esta ubicación. ¡Muy recomendado!
