Volcan De Timanfaya

First night in Lanzarote and having walked from our Hotel along the harbour area we chose this restaurant as we were hungry and it was pretty busy. The guys were happy with their large pints and us ladies had wine. Our food orders were taken quite quickly and in know time at all it arrived. We ordered mains, pizza, chicken with mushroom sauce and two baby lamb. The pizza and chicken were good, but us ladies both found the lamb quite solid and tasteless. We did tell them as we didn’t eat it, but to be honest they were not interested in our comments. We all had a complementary shot of caramel vodka and left. So no problems with staff or service, but would avoid the lamb. Our holiday was for 10 days, but we did not return to this restaurant.

We visited for lunch on 16th October 23. We were seated at 12.40 and ordered drinks and meals. The meals had not arrived at 1.20 although many who had arrived after us had been served. When I enquired how long our meals would be the waiter became aggressive and kept repeating we are busy! We immediately left the restaurant. These people do not appreciate nor deserve your business. There are dozens of excellent restaurants in this area where high quality food is served efficiently by friendly staff. Do not accept this level of service.

We really enjoyed our meal here. The meat is cooked on an open fire pit right at the front of the restaurant! It’s very good value for money as well Both me and my wife had the fillet mignon, it came presented well as 2 x 6ish fillets on each meal. Cooked really well. We enjoyed it! The gambas prawns were amazing as well! Generous portions

Ate here on three separate nights. Consistently good food, good service. We usually had fillet steak with baked potatoes which was v good. PS by chance when we took the public bus to the airport at the end of hols, the waiter was also on board and took the time to exchange pleasantries nice touch

The waiters had a fight with eachother,brilliant entertainment. The food was excellent though and would go back. The steak was almost half a cow and cooked exactly how I asked
