"Great food. Good portions. Friendly staff. You have basic Japanese clamps for your protein options such as chicken catsu and teriyaki chicken. There are upgrades for $5 like shrimp Tempoura, salmon, beef teriyaki. It's counter service so you order and pay first, then you'll find a table where they are? Bring your food."

Getting the plates with 2 proteins is already a LOT for one person, and the chicken katsu and beef was very good. I like how they have a variety of sauces to choose from, too! The grilled rice was okay- not bad. Although the food was served to us straight from the kitchen, it did not seem hot. The spring rolls also needed to be deep fried more -it seemed soggy and tasteless. The veggies were good. The prices are definitely much higher now than before but the quality could have been better, too. I expected a lot and I did get good food; however, I can get better food for the same price or cheaper somewhere else.

I'm going with 2 stars, because to be fair, there's more on the menu I didn't try. But the grilled chicken was cold, the chicken catsu was dry and do NOT order the side salad. It's not a salad, it's just a small container of lettuce. Not a single vegetable, except traces of peeled carrots. The fried rice was super salty, but would be really good different. I was strategic to use the tiny amount of sauce they give you and paid Allot for a warm coke. I'm not going back to get another chance. However, the cash register was very nice and professional.

Food is delicious and cooked really well. Been to a bunch of these mid level fast-casual restaurants (ie. Makai, skinnyfats, poke poku, etc) Value for the quality of food is really great comparatively. Service was super friendly and nice. First time here and will definitely come back. I got the double protein with katsu and filet mignon, grilled rice, and grilled vegetables.

originally was a little tired food from here because of the few reviews I saw. I drove around the area, saw the sign and decided to try it. I'm glad I did it! I got the salmon with rice, grilled vegetables and two spring rolls. It was terrible! the sweet garlic sauce to accompany the dish is also beautiful. the meal was a little expensive at $22, but overall great food!
