Food was decent but the service needs some work.I had the spicy ramen and it is probably one of the better ramen options I've had in the city so kudos to you guys there! The Green Onion cakes were very meh. My wife had the Maki Combo A which was mediocre at best hence why we arrived at a 3-Star rating for food.The service isn't bad but it's definitely not good. We had to go and seek out a server every time; when we needed water, or when we needed to order, or when we needed to pay. Don't get me wrong, they were kind when we dealt with them but they never checked-in with us through our entire meal. Despite what the other reviews say, I would say their service was the best aspect of the restaurant!Volcano has been around for a long time but it was never my first choice. But tonight’s experience changed my perspective! Our server, Archie was very attentive and friendly! We were very comfortable and had a good chat.I would agree with other reviews that their food is not the most authentic, the rice in sushi is quite sticky in comparison to Japanese sushi rice. However, I think the price is fair for the product, especially during happy hours. It’s hard to find a late night restaurant with so many choices in their menu and amazing customer service. Today was my first time coming to Volcano. Upon entering, my party was quickly put at a table and had our drinks and order taken.Personally, the bun bo hue lacked flavor; it tasted like the normal beef broth and a bit of hot oil on top. It was not spicy at all.Service wise was very poor. Within the 30 minutes after our food came to the table, no one asked how our food was. The table was cluttered with empty plates and bowls. We even had to get our own soy sauce from another table for the maki. No one came to fill our empty cups.Overall, the food was pretty good. However, the lack of service left my experience feeling rather lacking. Hopefully the next visit will be better.

We stopped by shortly after 11am. Was surprised to see that it provides sushi's as well as vietnamese phos.The waitress was impressive. She memorized our order, didn't even have to write it down.The phos were huge and extremely delicious. Best pho in Edmonton.Definitely will go again.By the way, the prices are very decent. Slightly cheaper than other Asian restaurantsParking: It might be located at a busy intersection so we took the backroad through the southside of the parking lot to Calgary Trail and 42 Avenue to go southbound. Last time I was here, it was probably 4 years ago. I have always loved the mango tango rolls. This is the only place that has ever made an eel roll so delicious! They are still just as good as I remembered them. Also ended up getting pho and I have been looking for a good pho place for a long while now. 10/10 on everything! It's worth the 20 min drive I have to do to get here. I highly highly recommend this place for sushi and pho! I don't think anyone can compare now.

Huge portions. Giant bowl of very flavourful pho. The vermicelli had nicely caramelized pork. I wish it had had more veggies. It came with lots of fish sauce. They gave us yam fries on the house. The mochi ice cream was nice. The deep-fried banana was pretty good. Unlike some reviewers, we had no issues with the service. The décor is basic, but that’s fine.

First time here and the food was amazing; flavourful and fragrant. Had the green onion cakes, spring rolls, and their what the pho. Portions are massive for the price. Nice ambiance, service was a little slow but not a deal breaker. Will definitely return.

We ordered salad roll and beef pho and some other snacks...foods were good and fresh... very good experience..nice place to sit. We will definitely go back for the next visit.

Delicious vermicelli bowls and a great variety of sushi and sashimi. Good pho options as well. Service was friendly and very attentive. Would definitely return.
