Well, it was craft beer time so I headed up to Volta Brau. The gentleman that assisted me was friendly with explaining the beers on tap as I wanted to try a sampler. They offer 3 samples priced at 5.50CHF, which is a very good deal. I decided on the IPA (nice), Red Ale (a little sweet maybe caramel tones), and the Porter (dark, coffee, and caramel scent). There must be a large contingent from Novartis here for after work drinks as I was hearing mostly English and British accents around the room. Feine Snacks und richtig gutes Bier! Wir haben uns fast durch die gesamte Bierkarte durchprobiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Aprikosensauerbier ist göttlich. Ist aber natürlich auch eine Geschmackssache. Auch dunklere Biersorten wärmstens zu empfehlen. Die kalten Platten und Pulled Prok Burger sind gut abgestimmt und schmecken sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen ein und das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis Leistung stimmt absolut. Wir waren auch mal an einer Brauereiführung in Volta Bräu, fanden diese sehr informativ und hatten Spass am Ausprobieren. Für einen gemütlichen Abend mit Freunden lohnt es sich dieses Lokal zu besuchen.

A little bit “hippie” style but with a modern feel, perfect for both casual gatherings and beer enthusiasts alike. Tends to get crowded by Novartis employees.
Ganz schönes Brewpub mit einem super Angebot von kleinen Snacks (best pulled pork burger) und tollem Bier! Das Angebot wechselt ständig und passt immer perfekt zur aktuellen Jahreszeit. Die Mitarbeiter sind äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein genialer place to be im Sommer und Winter für alt und jung.

Eigentlich ein nette Brauerei Bar angenehmes Licht, gute Playlist, aber das Pale Ale wirkt total verwässert wie mit Mineralwasser versetzt.
