With magnificent spring weather, we had made our way to Lauenburg, where we wanted to take a closer look at the old town. Some time ago, we had taken a short break on the way to the south, and the impressions of this short visit prompted us to a new, more intense visit this time. The sun shone from a cloudless blue sky, the thermometer climbed clearly over the 20 °C threatened by the weather frogs. We had run the Elbstraße almost in full length, now it had to be a break. very beautiful caffeine. whether to breakfast or for caffeine and cake very nice. the places at the window guarantee a very beautiful view of the elbe. the breakfast I didn't try, but looked very good. the coffee and the cake were very good. we sat outside on the terrace and could watch the elbe and observe some animals in a cup of coffee and a piece of cheesecake. to recommend. By the way, the location of the caffeine is wonderfully located in the old town and you can experience a super historical walk there.
This little place is so quaint it's amazing. The front part is a shop with loads of nice nick nacks and then in the back you can have coffee, cake, breakfast or lunch. We had coffee and cake but people around us had breakfast which is served on a 3 tier etagiere.All cakes are freshly baked and you struggle picking one as they all look amazing.You can look out over the Elbe and there is also a possibility to sit outside.
