The food, service, and sake at this restaurant were excellent. I adored the atmosphere, and the overall experience was a fantastic introduction to Hobart. The place was lively and filled with positive energy. Michaela was a wonderful waitress, very fun and knowledgeable, and she truly made our night memorable. I highly recommend trying the potato salad and the pork jowl, both of which were recommended by Michaela and were delicious. I will definitely be suggesting this restaurant to anyone I know who is visiting Tasmania.

This restaurant offers exceptional, authentic food with fabulous service and a great atmosphere with a funky vibe. Bonus points for serving incredible food at 10pm! The cocktails were delicious and inventive, both in taste and names. The tempura whiting had some of the best delicate batter I've ever had. Sharing plates are a fantastic way to experience the dishes. I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes, especially the tempura mushrooms. This spot has just become my favorite intimate spot in Hobart.

The food, the staff and in particular Laura were amazing!! Despite the mix up with our online booking they were incredibly apologetic and to compensate they gave us complimentary drinks while we waited. It was worth the wait! The service was fantastic and each course was beautifully cooked with the most amazing flavours! It had a wonderful buzz about the place as well. We can’t wait to go back!

Best Japanese food I’ve had outside of Asia. Great service, superb wine recommendation, nice atmosphere. The staggered service of our dishes was perfect. The Wagyu beef tataki was to die for, the sashimi divine, the pickles freshly made, the oysters amazing ... we loved it all. Pity my stomach couldn’t fit more. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant thanks to our waiter Finley, who created a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and we will definitely return when we are in Hobart again. I highly recommend this place for its quick service and ability to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Absolutely amazing, great atmosphere, staff were all extremely friendly and attentive and don’t even get me started on the food !!!! Sooooo good ! Packed full of flavour, every mouthful was a delight!!!! We’ll be back for sure

Awesome funky place, food is to die for puts a modern twist on Japanese cuisine and all of the staff were super awesome and friendly!!
