I had a healthy and delicious meal at this restaurant. The Chicken Veggie bowl was the perfect size for lunch, with fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. There were several different hot sauces available, allowing me to customize the flavor to my liking. It's a great alternative to the typical fast food options. I also tried the low-carbohydrate, high-protein bowl with shrimp, which came with a choice of white or brown rice, along with fresh carrots, broccoli, cabbage, and green onions. The dish was flavorful and served promptly.
This restaurant is fantastic! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Blanca provided outstanding customer service; she even offered me a small sample of the chicken teriyaki since it was my first visit. The place was spotless, and the music was enjoyable. This restaurant offers meat and fish options, as well as some delicious vegan choices. You can enjoy organic grilled tofu with teriyaki sauce, served with your choice of brown or white rice and steamed vegetables like broccoli, carrots, and cabbage (with an optional avocado topping). They also have a loaded miso dish with tofu and a side salad.
This WABA Grill, as shown in the picture, is situated off the 15 Freeway near Ontario, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, the WABA Grill in Apple Valley on Highway 18 was a completely different experience. I wouldn't recommend visiting that location; the service was lacking, the food was mediocre, and the vegetables were overcooked.

I absolutely love the new plant-based steak plate! I'm really surprised by how delicious it is. I also recommend adding avocado for an extra touch. As for the bowl, it didn't quite appeal to me, mainly because the vegetables were out of season. However, I definitely suggest giving the steak plate a try!

I tried the "100% plant-based steak peel," and it was quite good! It came with some vegetables and a generous portion of rice. I noticed they also had a tofu option. Overall, it's not a bad place, especially if you're with someone who isn't vegetarian.
I always call ahead to place my order, and it's always ready when I arrive. The food tastes great! I usually get the waba bowl without veggies and with white rice. The service is friendly, too.

This place isn't as good as Yoshinoya. If you visit an hour before closing, you're likely to get leftover cooked chicken from earlier in the day. The portion sizes are not worth the price.
Waba serves excellent fast Japanese cuisine. I would say it's a superior quality option compared to Yoshinoya.
