Today I was treated by the owner of the company where I work for lunch. I ordered a meal and the chicken placed on the bed of rice had to be no more than one and a half ounces. Basically, I had torn down royally, although I didn't pay for it. He paid over nine dollars with taxes for my meal and it was basically for rice and four small dumplings. The lemonade I ordered with the special was pure water with some sugar in it. Where was the lemon? Where was the chicken? I've never been disappointed with a lunch. What a joke. When I came home, I immediately made something to eat; it was an hour and a half later and I was still hungry!!!
Came all the way back here from Florida WE MISSED craved this WABA GRILL. MISSED KUEKEE AND HER SMILE. SO HELPFUL FRIENDLY BUBBLY YUMMY FOOD I LOVE THE SALMON SO MOIST DELISH GENEROUS PORTIONS FLAVORFUL RICE PERFECT NOT UNDER COOKED OR DRY, LIKE SOME WABA GRILLS. WE LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. HIGHLY RECOMEND KOOKI IS THERE MORNINGS SHES AMAZING FOOD AMAZING GUYS ARE ALL VERY SWEET GREAT COOKS HELFUL LOVE U TARZANNA WABA GRILL ????
Pretty good food...horrible customer service! I've been going to this particular Waba Grill for over 5 years. And for the most part the owners are okay. They will say hi and that's about it. However, when it comes to solving a simple issue like making a mistake on my order...they lose it. They will instead of just fixing the simple problem...they will argue with you. Crazy!
Today, 5/24/21, I placed an online order 15 minutes prior to our arrival. After the order was placed, they indicated that it would be ready in 11 minutes. Upon my arrival, 15 minutes later, the order wasn't ready. A customer walked in and place his order and received it before my order. I waited another 15 minutes before my order was ready. I ordered through Uber, and what I received was a $20 salad that must have only cost about $2 to make. The dressing tasted like a blend of lemon, olive oil, and salt—very underwhelming. I was really disappointed. While the food is usually good, the prices are just too high. I wouldn't classify this as a fine restaurant.
The food was great but not for the price. For $16 a plate I don't want fast food. I could have instead gone and had a real meal not just a little rice plain leaf salad and tin rib slices. Nope will not be returning. However friendly they were. Lol I'd be smiling too if I was charging that much.
