Wabora Japanese Fusion Steakhouse

We went to this restaurant for a lunch after pm. The OPEN sign was lit and the hours said until We were one of several groups going in. When we entered we were told that they weren't serving anymore but would be...open for dinner. When I pointed out that the signs said open the fellow said the sign didn't have room to put the hours on. I guess they didn't know about paper notices. Given all that has happened with Covid shut downs I find it odd that any business is willing to turn customers away. We are not impressed by this poor service, other restaurants appreciate our business.

Restaurant not following Covid protocols. People lined up outside not appropriately spaced. Dinner was an hour late. Son-in-law heckled, booed and pushed by people waiting when he proceeded to the door to pick up our order after being directed to do so by the...restaurant. Clearly Wabora was unable to keep up with the volume of orders taken. When approached regarding how are son-in-law was treated we were ignored. We have eaten at Wabora repeatedly since their opening. We will not be eating there again.

One of our boys wanted sushi so we went here. They were very well organized for the pandemic. The tables were well spaced, they insisted on masks, used disposable menus and checked our temperature going in. Our server was very pleasant and the service was...quick but not rushed. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. One person had sushi which he devoured, a rice bowl was yue second choice and a noodle dish the third. We were all pleased with thr portions and all would go back again.

We were thoroughly impressed by the attentive service and quality of food provided here. All the staff seemed genuinely concerned with providing a great dining experience. Phoned order in at requesting pick up. Was told was best possible which was fine. Arrived , the meal was sitting there already waiting. Asked how long it had been there, and told minutes or so. Needless to say the...meal was stone cold. Won't be back.

I ordered two rolls which ended up being With that price I was disappointed to find the tempura roll tough and old tasting and the other was heavily sauced and fell apart while trying to eat. Overall, won’t be back. Just wasn’t worth it.

The food was amazing, fresh with a great presentation. The ambiance was pleasant and relaxing, definitely a place to enjoy a great meal. We had three courses of sushi with dessert, tempera banana and green tea ice cream.

Tempura was fabulous. The shrimp were tender. The small scallops were really delicious. Usually I find the small scallops tough, not here. Really wonderful. My friends has Sushi and Sashimi, they loved it. Reserva una mesa ahora

Had been here many years ago and it remains consistent. Tapanaki food with chef was great and the food was tasty and well prepared. Worth a visit. No cappuccino available. Had a great time.

During the Covid lockdown I have experienced a great improvement in service and the great food has never changed. Will ordering more frequently due to the excellent service.
