Awffle House! We were lured in because of the proximity to our hotel and reviews. My mother and I were warmly greeted and a few people were seated in booths which looked tight. We opted to sit at the counter. One person was the cook and the other was the server/cashier. Both people were busy and nice, but the work area was a real mess. The floor in the work area was really dirty. My mother ordered a waffle with pecans. After she added some syrup, she only ate half because the batter was heavy,doughy and the pecans tasted like burnt bullets. I asked if they had chili, but it wasn't on the menu. They did... unfortunately. I ordered a bowl. It was just slightly warm and the crackers were stale...
When we went to this place there was one person working he was the cook ,waiter and the bus boy cleaning the table’s and washing the dishes .He deserves one heck of a raise there were at least 20 people dining he was friendly and greeted everyone explained the situation about being alone and it would be about 10 to 15 minutes for your food . We stayed and I watched him perform WOW I was amazed .I have been a retail store manager for over 20 years I get it it’s hard to get good employees but this man kept this store open for an owner who should have been there helping this young man keep his store open . Thank you I hope he gets some help .
We had a very good breakfast here, with the exception that it sat on the counter too long and arrived only warm. My wife's waffles came out quickly, but my eggs came out later. I say too clean because we came to eat at 7:45, and an employee was wet moping the cooking area. REALLY wet moping. Then the waitress had to walk gingerly through the dining area with wet soapy sneakers! For a business that is open 24 hours couldn't this be done BEFORE the morning rush? We will eat here again, and hopefully the floor moping won't be happening at rush hour.
I decided to dive for a late lunch, and I am glad I did it because as soon as I run in me I put my eyes on this beautiful young lady. she turned out to be my server when she was the only server on layer. she was excellent! She was very nice of the moment I came in. she welcomed me with a very friendly “Hi welcome to waffle House!”. overall I had one of the best experiences I had ever had in a waffle house thanks to my ali server. definitiw will be back soon.

5 stars for Waffle House? Yes! This was my first time at a Waffle House and my expectations were low. What I found was comfortable dinner type surroundings and very clean. All the booths were taken when we arrived but we were quickly asked if we would like to sit at the counter. Sure, why not. The server was great and the food was excellent. The breakfast with tip was under $20 and my tip was over 20%! We are now fans!
Waited briefly, but they do turn tables quickly. It was a lot smaller with fewer tables than we expected. Food came quickly as well. We were all disappointed with our waffles, they were limp with no crispness. The hash browns were over crisp on top and barely cooked below. Bacon was excellent! Recommended for a fast, no-frills breakfast.
