I had the opportunity to dine in for lunch and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The price per person was reasonable, falling between $10 and $20. Food: 4/5 - The highlight of my meal was the Breakfast Platter with Sausage, which was delicious and fulfilling. Definitely a standout dish! Service: 3/5 - The service was decent, though there were moments when the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Atmosphere: 4/5 - The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal. Overall, I would recommend trying the Breakfast Platter with Sausage if you’re looking for a satisfying lunch!
The first time in every Waffle House house. My expectations were modest, but I was pleasantly surprised at the food. The bacon, egg and cheese hash brown bowl was so delicious, the waffle was the right amount of vanilla sweet, the coffee was delicious (I am fussy about my coffee). But my absolute favorite thing about this experience was our waitress CJ, she was so really nice, friendly, care and so good at her job, I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the cook, he was very friendly and happy. Thanks for making such a great stop on the way from NY to Hershey.
Typically, WH is excellent, but unfortunately, that was not the case this morning. Firstly, the place felt like an icebox. Secondly, the food cooled off quickly. Thirdly, I was served orange tea instead of regular tea without any prior notification when I placed my order. The server was not friendly at all; she seemed like she regarded her job as a burden. The staff here is very nice and friendly, and the food is incredible. I tried the sausage and cheese grits along with coffee, and it was delicious. This is definitely a fantastic spot to bring your family if you're looking for great cooking and a lovely atmosphere at reasonable prices. You certainly get your money's worth in food! O Waffen House, as we wish you were here in NY. We visit Coal Township several times a year and on our way we always keep at Waffle House in Scranton PA. We love it. Always fast service and food is always great. Try the peanut butter waffle. The Waffle House was always so easy, but a great place to stop and eat a bite. Yus
