First question why is the diner is full but half the tables are closed off with everyone brunched together on one side of the diner . Food is great love the cooks they are always GREET you! Which people love smh I’m not from North Carolina I’m here on a business trip for a month and this was the closest. The older waitress are all great however the young one seem to care less. This one girl stood out because I waited 5 mins before I had to someone to take my order she had pink hair with glasses but would just stare and just continue cleaning while continuing to walk pass me even tho I’m the only one standing at the register. I’m not sure if she doesn’t like her job but I literally tip over 1...
The waitress eventually came out from the back to take our order, but instead of standing, she pulled up a chair and sat down while doing so. After inputting our order, she spent a few minutes at the register, then appeared to be occupied with her phone, leaving us uncertain about what she was doing next. After about ten minutes, a few more customers arrived to place take-out orders. Perhaps the state of the dirty tables deterred them from dining in? I was just surprised to see the tables left in such disarray for so long. It almost felt like a strategy to avoid having too many patrons at once, considering there was only one waitress to handle the floor. I haven’t encountered such an appro...
I had a wonderful breakfast here. The eggs were cooked perfectly, which can be tricky to achieve at other places. The bacon was delightfully crispy. The only downside was that the waitress seemed a bit inattentive; I was never offered a coffee refill or asked if I needed anything else. Despite that, I still left her a decent tip out of sympathy. She had multicolored hair and several unconventional piercings, but there wasn’t a smile to be seen.
The food was enjoyable, but the atmosphere was quite loud due to the staff and the music. The server who took my order wasn’t actually my assigned server and ended up getting my order wrong. Although another server tried to fix it, I ended up eating what was served because I was too hungry to wait. The manager didn’t seem to be concerned about the situation. Great breakfast. My eggs were perfect which is very difficult for other restaurants. Lightly scrambled/ runny. Bacon was delicately crispy. Only issue was small but the waitress was inattentive. I was never offered any coffee refill or if I needed anything. But I still left her a fair tip out of pity. She had multi-colored hair, many unsuitablebly placed piercings. No smiling whatsoever.
