Small Cosy Restaurant, BIG on plaudits On the recommendation of a former dance partner, my foodie partner and I travelled to Milnrow, and a pub restaurant called The Waggon Inn. To the locals, this place is often referred to as The Back Waggon. I assume this may be because there is/used to be another place with the same name, but on the main road and close by. Besides the recommendation, I was told you HAVE to book in advance on ANY day of the week. And so Sunday was the day, and the Lunch with a starter (at a very reasonable price) was going to be the order of the day. And so, was pre-booked. This has a different ‘lay-out’ in design to any other restaurant that I have ever visited in the UK...

Lovely pub with a good atmosphere. Food was very nice with ample portions. I had a lamb burger which was good with proper homemade chips. All the burger options offer a choice of beef, chicken or lamb which is a good idea. The rest of our party had the tapas which looked great and tasted great too. We were too stuffed for dessert. Will definitely look to return.

We have visited for lunch a couple of times recently. Can recommend the tapas, generous portions and very tasty. Nice atmosphere, a mix of diners and locals sat at the bar. Friendly and efficient staff, small car park. Now one of our “go to”eating places.

I can always count on this place to deliver a great experience. Another fantastic visit with delicious food at a great value. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff always greets me with a smile.

Really good place to eat. Friendly host's, good atmosphere. We'll worth a visit. Food really beautiful. Been about 6 times now, every time excellent food and service. Give it a try.

It's my watering hole so I can't complain. Not that I would. The food is exceptional and the beer is second to none. Best pint in Milnrow. 10 out of 10.

Went here with the girls for a drink. Lively pub, with a great atmosphere. Very homely feel and fab for a night out
