After having a craving for Hawaiian BBQ I decided on this location, based on reviews I figured why not.Order- 8 prawn combo, 3 pc beef rib combo, broccoli,The prawns were your run of the mill frozen deep fried shrimp.The beef had an odd after taste leaving a burnt flavor on my tongue. They were not tender or fresh to say the lease. The food was not hot when I got home smh The Mac salad which is always my favorite part was not fresh. I was craving a loco moco so I decided to try this place, but it definitely did not satisfy the craving. Overall the meat and the eggs tasted good and the eggs were perfectly runny, but the gravy was solid like jello!!! I don't know if it's clear from the photo, but I could literally slice through the gravy with my fork. I thought maybe it wasn't hot enough so I heated it again, but that didn't help. I had to try my best to push all the jello away to eat this, but it was a really unpleasant experience.
Ordered chicken katsu to go. The teaspoon of macaroni salad was warm. 2 little teaspoons of rice and breaded chicken strips. Was place in this new small clear plastic container.I believe it was bit pricey for this meal.15$.The breakfast with rice and eggs and spam much cheaper, but smaller portions.Food orders were to go- per sign in the window. I have had Loco Moco in Hawaii and I prefer my eggs scrambled. This place is the best. If you ask for scrambled eggs they make them like an omelet. The barbecue steak is good. I like the short ribs but they are a bit bony for me. The barbecue chicken is excellent. Chicken katsu is also good . I have never seen anyone get french fries. My go to place at least 2x a month and I pass some places in Berkeley to go to El Cerrito. Good value for the money.

I ordered from Uber eats and this meal was so disappointing. The crab Rangoon's are dry and arrived cold. The Waikiki mixed bbq plate meats are way too salty. The rice is gummy. The macaroni salad isn't the best but it's okay. Overall disappointing meal I don't recommend and would not try again.
Over price and they try to sneak in extra fees to pay with a card I see why they don’t have any business! And the person at the counter just sitting there on the phone sitting up front while food is getting cold omg never again !
The customer service was terrible. The older man at the counter was rude and had no respect for the customers. He has a very short temper. It's unfortunate, but I will be going to L&L in Pinole from now on. Food rating: 3/5.
Delicious! Be sure to order extra macaroni salad. As for kid-friendliness, my daughter absolutely loves the food!

It's fine. Portions are big. Quality is good enough. Service is quick. I order the half half. Katsu is good.
The prices are quite high considering the small portions served. Food rating: 2/5.
