Unfortunately, our visit to the Waldeck restaurant was disappointing. Although we were looking forward to the view and the animals, we were disappointed with the food. The prices were exorbitantly high and the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. In addition, the waiter was a man , who worked alone, was overwhelmed. Although he tried his best, we could feel the frustration. The waiting time was disproportionate. Another point of dissatisfaction was that we could not receive separate bills when we tried to pay by card. I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed with this restaurant. Neither the food nor the service lived up to our expectations. We will not recommend this restaurant. It 's a shame the wait staff was so overwhelmed, but we hope the restaurant learns from this and offers a better customer experience in the future.

A really nice and relaxing pension with a magnificent view. Our room, which was really inviting, had a coffee maker, kettle, drinking cup and small fridge. The shower room for this room was outside of our room and was very spacious and clean. Since our room was accessed via an outside staircase, I would have liked to know beforehand that these stairs are lattice staircases that I can see through, which was a shock for people like me who are afraid of heights. I survived it. The breakfast was absolutely sufficient in the offer and the quality was good. We would book again at any time in the Waldeck! Ok old and the Waldeck 's best time is long gone, we know that and we accept it. But what 's the point? Endless waiting times, bad service and unbelievable prices with really bad quality. Hand cheese with 4 FOUR slices of wild ham (each slice 8x6 cm) for almost 10 euros and it was just loveless! Asked the service briefly Yes, I know, many find it too expensive, but the boss says the ham makes up the price, but I also think it 's too expensive . Class! We used to like being here but that 's gone now.
