Our wedding 2023: In July of this year we celebrated our wedding on the Waldeck with a party of around 60 people. For this we used the covered entrance area including the bar and the outdoor area. There is a music system and the staff there is very committed and friendly. In addition to drinks, we also ordered finger foods (venison burgers, various other snacks, various desserts). These were very well made and tasted delicious. Value for money is very good, the view and atmosphere is just wow! If you want to celebrate relaxed and worry-free, you're doing everything right here. After prior coordination (we requested in writing and then refined the offer on site) everything worked wonderfully....
The review refers to the restaurant. After a long time and after the change of ownership we visited the restaurant. There were a few tables occupied outside and a few inside. So overall it's not that busy. However, taking into account the limited staff and the information already given by the owner due to staff problems, this is probably sufficient for the restaurant. The service is very attentive. It is not clear to the guest why the hand cheese dish is served together with wild ham. Especially since it was normal Black Forest ham and the hand cheese only had an oil dressing. In the end, they couldn't find the vinegar. The other guests' other dishes were also rather sufficient or mediocre....
You could sit here with a great view, everything actually seems quite nice. However, I sat at the table for almost half an hour without anyone from the service showing up. Then I looked in and didn't see anyone. I called loudly, no response. There was still an “open” sign in front of the entrance. It wasn't Monday or Tuesday (rest day). So I couldn't find out what it's really like here. Next time I'll bring something to drink and eat myself. Because you're sitting really nicely and there's no one there who could be bothered by you taking care of yourself. There are tigers in an enclosure in the garden. Service: 1 Location: 4
I used to work there. the personal is friendly, but only to the guests! Unfortunately, the operating climate is very shlec ht, which is why I only worked twice there. may have changed in the meantime, but if the chefin is still the same, probably not. because the chefin thinks that the restaurant is like a 5 star restaurant and so the employees are also treated when they make a mistake. all in all very rude and also somewhat overpriced. and. only 3 stars and even this is not entirely achieved. and, from hotel can not be talking, is just a pension. the only beautiful there is the tiger garden, which is really an experience!

we were served several times in the mountain restaurant waldeck and are always very satisfied! eating is good and fast. the personal and the fefin are always very friendly and accommodating and every wish is immediately followed. the view from the terass on ingelheim is spectacular and the proximity to the tigern is probably unique. we can only recommend this restaurant!
