We were here on a Sunday night and the place was pretty busy. A nice older man who had a table with his friends (I think he was the owner) let us sit and a waitress came to take our drinks order not long after the besling was great. Menus have enough English to reach you. I tried the pig cookies and ordered a mixed salad on the side. As expected, German portions are large, so you will be full when you can finish the whole dish! Very cozy inside and a great little German restaurant at very affordable prices.
Great service quality price ratio and a beautiful atmosphere: our group was for a business dinner, although with a relaxed atmosphere. And this place was perfect for even though it was also for private/family or couples etc. very suitable. In good weather it is highly recommended to dine in the yard as well as simply beautiful. The food was very good and the menu covered a large selection.
I don't know why some people here give such bad reviews!? We've been here for four and fed extremely delicious. The appetizer salad was fresh and had egg delicious dressing. The main dishes were all tasty and my Rumpsteak medium rare, just as I like it. The service was super nice and friendly. Come back.
Beautiful exterior seats, historical location on the old city wall. changing menus with gray seasonal specialities and local cuisine.
