This small forest restaurant is located in the middle of Rheinhessen and away from everyday aesthetics. The parking lot is a few meters away, but the short walk through the forest is already relaxing. In the beer garden it sits very cozy, the drinks must be picked up in the counter itself. The selection of drinks is good, the self-made lemonade tastes excellent! The menu is clear, there is something for everyone and the food was served. The self-made pommes taste great, the scavenger with the onion/spek sauce also. we visited the forest restaurant neuborn on a Sunday evening. it was a rather hot day, as the beer garden is in the forest, but it can be kept great here. the card is not quite large, but completely sufficient. salat is available from the buffet, otherwise carving in different variations with self-made pommes. although there is regular self-service and it was well visited, we were served nicely. the food tasted and very good. the price/performance ratio is absolutely consistent. the chef had still time for a little chat with us - we felt comfortable and will come again!
I was there first, we had carving. the meat was really good, but the sosse was missing something. pommes were also good. the gasthof is very cozy and well maintained. above all the outside area is very beautiful, since located in the small woods. Located in the beautiful nature reserve Neuborn in Wörrstadt, the forest restaurant enchants us every summer. Due to the central location in the forest, right next to the source you can switch off wonderfully in summer and enjoy one or other lobsters with friends.
