"Conclusion in advance: idyllic, cozy, rustic guest house with very large outdoor area, well sorted menu with regional dishes and beautiful wildcard. Although the “Kochprofis” were underway here – obviously successful – this place can really be recommended. The location is fantastic. Although located very close to the federal road 303, with a huge free parking just a few steps from the local. Embedded between tall trees at the Karchesweiher at the foot of the Ochsenkopf at the confluence of white Main and Paschenbächlein. Since 1706 the house has been mentioned as a "white main oven" karches for processing iron mica. Since 1970, the house has been run as an outing restaurant. Here are some ways of the area. The occasion for our visit was the fact that we had formed two groups of hikers according to the different paths and the Karches were chosen as a meeting point. The ambience can only be described with “beautiful” in the outdoor area! It's a huge beer garden. On one side there is the terrace with about 12 four tables and four large brewery umbrellas, on the other side on the meadow between place and lake several tables with chairs beer tables and solid beer tables. Everything with umbrellas! The interior is somewhat rustic, dark wood furniture, wooden ceiling and beams are accompanied by white wall surfaces. The tables are provided with fabric table cloths and some butt discs round off the picture of the former "Jagdhaus". Apart from the toilets, the restaurant is also well accessible for disabled persons. The menu looks neat and sorted, it is paid for seasonal and regional dishes. There is also a changing wild card. Despite the situation and the environment, no excessive prices. The service surprised me. When we waited for our friends, there was not much going on. We were kind and quietly received and served. When later the terrace and the other outdoor area filled more and more two ladies and a master in the rolling system, no one had only fixed tables so confidently to grasp the situation that I could just stumble. Kindness and attention in no way decreased, only the number of strokes increased exorbitant. The drinks are cooled decently, delivered quickly and are appropriate in the price of the area. A water of 0.4 l comes to €2.30, the common wheat beats at €3.00. The food was also delivered quickly, the liver dumplings soup at 3.50 € was very tasty without Mr. Knorr! and a vegetable brine with roasted potato cubes, salad and cream horse at 7.90 € left no wishes open from the amount or taste. Very recommended. The cleanliness in the outdoor area is not to be demanded if, then the guests themselves, who sometimes like the swings... no, I don't want to insult an animal. The inner area looks well maintained and brightened, although slightly dark. The toilets are unfortunately only accessible via stairs in the basement. Cleanliness is perfect, the interior is new, modern and yet adapted to the style of the house with wood application. Finally for interested parties another company video: [here link]"

Conclusion in advance: idyllic, cosy, rustic guest house with very large outdoor area, well-stocked menu with regional dishes and beautiful wildcard. Even though the “Kochprofis” were in progress here – obviously successful – this location can really be recommended. The location is fantastic. Everything with umbrellas! The interior is owed to the name somewhat rustic furnishings, dark wood furniture, wooden ceiling and beams are accompanied by white wall surfaces. The tables are provided with fabric table cloths and some butt discs round off the picture of the former “Jagdhaus”. Except for the toilets, the restaurant is also well accessible for disabled persons. The menu looks tidy and sorted, it is paid for seasonal and regional dishes. There is also a changing wild card. Despite the situation and the environment, no excessive prices. The service surprised me. When we arrived to wait for our friends there was not much going on. We were kind and quietly received and served. When later the terrace and the other outdoor area have increasingly filled two ladies and a master in the rolling system no one had only fixed tables so confidently grasping the situation that I could only stumble. Friendliness and attention in no way diminished, only the number of strokes increased exorbitantly. The drinks are decently cooled, are delivered quickly and are appropriate in the price of the area. A water 0.4 l comes to €2.30, the soft wheat beats at €3.00. The food was also delivered quickly, the liver dumplings soup at 3,50 € was very tasty without Mr. Knorr! and a vegetable sol with roasted potato cubes, salad and cream horseradish at 7,90 € did not leave any wishes open from the amount or taste. Very recommended. The cleanliness in the outdoor area is not to be challenged if, then the guests themselves who sometimes perform like the swing..., no, I don't want to offend an animal.
