walk the talk kitchen catering is located in onkaparinga valley rd verdun. once a service station, post office. the caffe is all white with wooden floors and assorted retro style tables and chairs that all create a cozy atmosphere. the main room has a cozy open fire, a glass display case counter with a good selection of local cakes. we enjoyed our visit, the coffee was well made, and it was relaxed next to the warm fire relax. there is a large menu with excellent cuisine and catering options. the caffe has a series of private rooms, with a covered alfresco/garden area on the back of the building.
The shrimp and eggplant dish at this restaurant is fantastic and a must-try as their signature dish. The sauce is subtle, delicate, and light, making it brilliant. The salmon curry is not just fish pieces swimming in curry soup, but a delightful combination of soft sweet potatoes and salmon pieces in a thicker style curry that is light and aromatic. The wine selection is narrow but good and suitable for pairing with the food. The service may be a bit slow, but it's not all bad when you can enjoy the company of your dining companion while indulging in delicious food and a glass or two of wine.
One of my all time favourite lunch spots. I follow a low carb, keto/paleo diet. Love their fritters, curries and salads. They also have take home options and one of the best coffee places in Blackwood! Super friendly and helpful owner and staff if you have tricky complex dietary requirements. Their food is so fresh, tasty and filling, also reasonably priced they do a fritter and your choice of salad for $13.
A hidden gem in the Adelaide Hills, this restaurant offers fantastic food and coffee, along with top-notch service.
