Walter's - Reservar una mesa

Our server was terrible. We were seated given water then sat there for over 10 minutes. Our server was at a table 2 away from us, never greeted us, never said I'll be right with you. I ended up asking the host who our waiter was as no one had been over to our table. He got the waiter he took our drink appetizer order, drinks took awhile, someone not our waiter finally brought them after someone had already dropped our appetizer. We finished our app and still hadn't seen our waiter again. We ordered our food from someone else, she was nice and helpful. I drive all the way to Walters from LA (40 miles per way) a few times a year for their amazing Afghan specialities. My Fave is the Kabuli Pilaf, aromatic rice with carrots, raisins and beautiful lamb carvings and I always take a few bottles of red spicy Chutney with me home. Large restaurant but it is cozy and warm. Good professional service.

Had the most delicious lunch yesterday! I love spicy food and the spicy chicken pasta dish was absolutely delicious! The service was top notch. Afterwards we toured the many rooms perfectly for large and small private meetings. This restaurant and the people who run it are excellent in their craft and it shows!!!

Web site prices: corn salad, $7.95(actual price at W's, $10.00 ; Ahi with Basmati rice, $24.95 (actual price at W's, $38! . Service poor/ tile round table, bar tender waiter, as such. Had to ask for silverware/napkins/bread. Everyone's meal was poor. Very disappointing for special birthday dinner.

Unfortunately. The Afghan burger was too dry. There was too much bun. The Afghan fries were oily and soggy. The omelette was too dry and bland. The hash brown with the omelette was also. bland in taste and color. I have to remember not to return.

I was there several times and it's a great restaurant with great food. Food for a casual lunch or a nice dinner. I highly recommend it!

Food was very mediocre. Lamb burger was dry, veggie burgers were bland, and chicken kebabs were pretty bland although tender

The first time here!!!! Everything was perfect!!!! Food, bar and service was on point!!!! Will return.
