Gonna just say if you are going to make it your special ocassion entrée you better make certain you have mastered its preparation. We ordered the lamb shank showcased for Mothers Day. When it arrive to the table it appeared as a dogs squeeky toy. Definitely hard and rubbery. I thought I found it tough because I was only served a butter knife with my utensils. It would not cut it. I then told our server that it was not tender and requested a steak knife. When I was given a steak knife it was not any different. I cut a piece off gave a few chews and had to spit in my napkin. Never Again, We took my father in-law out for his Birthday dinner of his favorite fish and chips. Our party of six ordered drinks and dinner... A Hot Turkey dinner, Shrimp in a basket, Club House, Bacon Cheeseburger, Soup and Salad last but not least, my father in-laws Fish and Chips. Our meals came in about 15 minutes, all except my 88 year olds Fish and chips! He encouraged us to eat our meals as the waitress said the Fish and Chips would be right out. Well, we finished our meals, except for the father in-law. The meal never came until we were leaving!!!! Don't expect much here! My wife and I stopped in on a recent Saturday night and the first give away was that there were plenty of parking spots in front at around 6:30pm (prime time)! We quickly were seated and ordered drinks while checking out the extensive menu! Nothing seemed very appealing and we both had a very difficult time deciding what to order! She selected the Mussels from the appetizer menu and I chose the Perch dinner. We added an order of sweet potato fries just for fun! We had lunch at Walter and Neptune's on Sunday...a group of five. Having read the other reviews, my expectations of this diner were rather low. I was pleasantly surprised. We all enjoyed our meals. The menu is quite extensive with both small and large plates. One of us had the daily special: quiche with fries ...beautiful individual pie, very tasty. The fish and chips plate was very delicious....generous portion, crispy battered haddock. I plan to return to try the broasted chicken. If you aren't worried about the cost and enjoy a small portion size in an oversized box, you'll enjoy the food. Placed an order for pickup, never ordered from here before. Seen the menu online with no prices on it, did not think it would cost what it did for what we got today. Was not impressed when the food was brought back with fountain drinks. 3.50 per, and no distinction of what was what when ordered. Thinking we were getting cans on a take out order, did not think to mention we had a diabetic. Working for a local company in town, and ordering food on a bi weekly basis for the team here, walters will be off the list from places we order from.

Ordered 'hot ' corned beef which came smothered in canned beef gravy with enough salt to sink one of the laker ship sailing outside. My meal came canned peas as well...yuck. My mother ordered a salmon club sandwich which was made with cheap canned salmon. Fries were about the only good thing we ate. They couldn 't even get my mother 's tea right...too much water for one tea bag and lukewarm water. Hungry in Port?? Skip this place

If you enjoy lamb, you must try their Lamb burger - it is absolutely delicious. Juicy and bursting with flavor! Pair it with either the fresh large cut fries or, even better, the Greek salad. My husband had the Reuben with fries and was also quite pleased. The prices are reasonable and you can't go wrong. The restaurant is clean, well air-conditioned, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A must-visit when in Port! Cheers!

dreadful, if i could i give less than zero stars. slow service, long wait for everything ordering, drinks and food. the food was terrible junk. the salmon overcooked and dry the fisch and chips overcooked and dry the gyros was a horrible grey flap of something that had absolutely nothing in common with the real thing same with the tzatziki going there is a waste of money and in the end you’re lucky if you didn’t get sick

I ordered the Greek village salad and requested extra feta for a small additional charge, and I was not disappointed! There was almost more feta than tomatoes and cucumbers, which was delicious. My husband tried the liver and onions and also enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning to Walters whenever we are in Port Colborne.

The wings are juicy, although they are smaller compared to those at Blue Star in Welland and Joe Dog in Burlington. The prime rib is a great deal at $21 for a 16 oz portion. The calamari is also very juicy. It is definitely worth making the trip from Niagara Falls.
