The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is a smiling face and a motorbike hanging on the wall. Then when the friendly waitress seats you, you gawp at the helmet lamp-shades. Taking your eyes off all the interesting decorations, you look at your menu and find that choosing something is going to be difficult. Burgers, Steaks, Chicken, Nachos, Sandwiches and much more. We chose the spare-ribs and rib-eye steak. Hmmm, delicious! Portions are big enough, and it's a pity that we had no space left for dessert. A lovely ambience with very friendly and efficient staff.
Great setting across road from Schwetzingen Palace, with cobbled outside dining.On our visit to this Cafe it was very quiet with only 6 guest tables in use & yet it was over quarter of an hour to be given menus.Staff reasonably friendly, however not a smile to be seen during our visit.We ordered beer, coffee & nachos.Beer was as expected in Germany, great, coffee was very weak a not very nice. Nachos was disappointing, bland with not much thought out into its preparation.Friends live locally & surprised at our experience as normally good service & food.
Let me say first of all, that my husband and I love to go out for breakfast more though than dinner.The Walzwerk has great sounding breakfast choices, however the real food was disappointing.My husband was looking forward to his blueberry pancakes, which were thick and dry and tastes like they had been reheated. The service was good and very friendly.
This is THE place to chill with the bikers .. super bikes of various brands can be seen parked right in front of the restaurant while sipping your favourite wine and/or beer from the extensive menu. Strategically located at the T-junction of the local landmark, castle, a good place to people watch.

We were on tour yesterday... 3 hungry stomachs had to be sown... Absolutely 5 stars deserved. Burgers were fresh, crisp salad, juicy meat, perfect frits both tasteful and crisp, super thorough staff, ambience was very cozy. Price performance is excellent!!!! It was very delicious. We come back!!!!
Walzwerk is located across from our Beautiful Schwetzingen Castle and has great Burgers. They are a little expensive, wedges are great, beer is good, employees friendly and Walzwerk has an American Diner design. Try it if you happen to be visiting Schwetzingen.
Stopped here due to the casual feel and look of the place, wasn't disappointed even with the assembling crowd. Our service was reasonably fast and the food was good (and filling). Would recommend for casual dinning and local atmosphere.
We visted this restaurant for our breakfast and we were really suprised by the quantity of food we got for two menues and 20€. Very nice place with a nice view.

The Walzwerk is well located in the centre of Schwetzingen. The food was decent and the service was good. Prices are ok.
