We received absolutely rude service from the owner/manager, who looks like he doesn't want to be there. Such a shame with its iconic location. The manager/owner is extremely rude and arrogant as well as nasty to his staff, the customer service was shocking and the staff seemed miserable and disinterested (I don't blame them with a boss like that), we weren't even greeted when we came to order. We ordered a chicken and avo open sandwich, the waitress brought our meals to us without avocado and walked away without saying anything. Apparently they were out of avocado but no one informed us when we ordered, or afterwards or even when we got our meal we had to chase it up ourselves, we weren't offered something else instead, we had to ask - the staff told us they charged us less but when we worked it out we were still charged the full a...
Turned up for breakfast with the family. Great area and good for kids as there is plenty of room to run around the grass area outside. Food was good quality however they have no idea about service. One of or meals a veggie stack was served in a soup bowl, we had to ask for another plate to put it on to be able to eat it. Asked for two kids milkshakes, lady said they do them but we got served and charged for two adult milkshakes. Upon complaining we were told they only do one type of milkshake even though we asked before. They solved the problem by giving us two take away coffee cups allowing us to split one milkshake into two for the kids. Meals are overpriced for what you get as well. Been...
I came down with my wife and two dogs to see what the Wanderers Cafe experience was like and I wasn't disappointed.. Firstly I was abit worried about bringing the dogs down but they were welcomed just like we were straight away. The staff was quick and efficient and had great customer service. Our food and coffee came out the same time as we requested and all was delicious I had the poached eggs which were cooked perfect and nice and runny and my wife had pancakes which were nice and fluffy and delicious to eat. The location is unreal has a great view of the beach and such a wide space to relax and enjoy a nice meal.. I will definitely be coming back to this wonderful Cafe.
Been here before and the wait was over an hour. Came again begrudgingly with some friends for breakfast. Waited again over an hour for food. One friend ordered muesli and it still took that long! My poached eggs were overcooked. Would have sent them back but I had somewhere to be for dinner. Staff were friendly enough but for the life of me I can't figure out why their service is so slow when they have so many people working there!
