Arrived at this restaurant after morning ski for a family lunch. All started really well, sunshine on the terrace, engaging waiter. Ordered food at 12.40 and thats when the problems began. Out of the 7 of us who ordered food two were served quite rapidly while all the others waited. Personally I ordered a local burger that arrived about 45 minutes later while another arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes later. Started getting cold on the terrace so we decided to move inside. Thats when the final two dishes arrived, all in all 1 hour 30 minutes later! I am French so I know what waiting at restaurants can be like, but for burgers and fried chicken, even we do better than that. Got served a small schn...
We were starving after a long day's drive in the stunning mountains of Vorarlberg and on our way back to Lech we notice this hotel restaurant and we think: hey, let's give it a try. It was an amazing discovery--better than anyplace we ate...in Lech. They had a really wide ranging menu including lots of game-type items. My wife went for the Hirschbraten and I tried a wild lamb dish. We ended up with the traditional apple strudel. Everything was excellent. We decided, next time we are saying in Lech, we will drive to Warth (not far, maybe 10 kilometers on the Bregenz road) and eat in the Warterhof! They had a special area for families with kids, by the way.

We didn't book and they found a table for our party without difficulty. Pleasantly intelligent venue. Service very pleasant, but needed a bit of chivvying. A wide range of typical products, served immediately. Ski down to the floor of the chair lift (NOT... the bubbles are a long walk). It's just over the street

Did stay in the hotel and had high expectations for the food also, stayed 7 days and only the cheese fondue night was good all other 6 not good enough, they try but have just no clue how to do it. I am happy I...am home again so I can eat good again

Excellent food with high-quality ingredients and innovative combinations and presentation. The staff is very attentive and friendly. A very good selection of wine.
Delicious food, Austrian restaurant with elaborate furniture, attentive staff (a friendly, efficient Austrian who spoke English with a mancun accent)

We took the new lift to Warth from Lech and found this wonderful hotel with a sunny terrace and fantastic choice of food at a very reasonable price.
