Warung Agus Balinese Cuisine

(happycow will not allow from any reason) warung agus is the best in north melbourne by far. suci and mary are wonderful hostes and barkeepers and they do everything they can to ensure that they and their friends or family have the meal of a life. santhi is an exceptional chef who always delivers her absolute best from the kitchen. during the quarantine they were a life saving with the takeaway options. to my favorites include the tempeh goreng and the Auberginen-Curry (both vegan and srumptious), so a great place to not bring vegans too, because sharing options is so easy and they are not let out! everything on the menu is moreish and I would ask their own recommendations if they are not sure what to get. book them or ring them before for taking them, as everything goes fast! I would recommend to eat when places reopen because eating in experience means only more time to be surrounded by family photos and balinese tranquility. very child-friendly and also a great datum place (if possible book into the sunbed) updated by the previous review on 2020-06-04

I remember very clearly the first time that I ate here for the 20th birthday of a friend who is now about 20 years! it was an absolute sensory manifestation. the beautiful potting plants that covered the front window, the rugged and, of course, the aromen were like nothing I had ever experienced! love the combination of warming seasoned, aromatized, nutty tempe and sweet creamy cocosnus in Balinese food and warung agus makes it best in melbourne. I had not been in the restaurant, but when they started to deliver their huge lockers, I had to try all 3 vegan options. Amazingly, I had never tried her famous avocado dishes in creamy cocosnussgravie because it sounded too rich at me, but now I'm tied, it's perfect. if they can't decide what to order (I can never choose from so many delicious options) they get the Nasi campur for an intro to balinese eating on a dish. we are looking forward to eating again when we can.

the absolute best. her vegan Nasi campur is now my comfort food. super beautiful family business. very vegan friendly. easy pick-up also. would give ten stars if I could (4 is the highest hc will allow for non-all-vegan places.)

the personal was great and attentive to vegan needs. they have a whole separate vegan menu with tons to choose. delicious authentic Balinese cuisine.
