Suci and Mary are outstanding hosts and bartenders, going above and beyond to make sure you and your loved ones have an unforgettable dining experience. Santhi, the chef, consistently produces remarkable dishes from the kitchen. During quarantine, they offered a lifesaving takeaway service. Some of my favorites are the tempeh goreng and the eggplant curry—both vegan and absolutely delicious, making it an ideal place for vegans since sharing dishes is easy and everyone gets to enjoy! I vividly remember the first time I dined at this restaurant for a friend's 20th birthday, which was almost two decades ago! It was a complete sensory experience. The beautiful potted plants adorning the front window, the rustic decor, and the incredible aromas were unlike anything I had ever encountered. I absolutely love the combination of warm, seasoned, aromatic nutty tempeh and sweet, creamy coconut in Balinese cuisine, and Warung Agus does it best in Melbourne. Absolutely amazing! Her vegan Nasi Campur has become my go-to comfort food. It's a lovely family-owned business that is very vegan-friendly. The pick-up process is also super convenient. If I could, I would give it ten stars! (Unfortunately, the highest rating here for non-all-vegan places is four.)
