This is probably the best bar I've ever been in my life. You go to that bar and it's great. From the softly spoken regulars to the delightful bar staff there is no bar in Albany that compares. All her bartenders are amazing, but if I could call one, it would be Sarah. Whenever I get to WT's (Washington Tavern) and I see her standing behind the bar, I know it's a phenomenal experience. She is by far the most attentive, charismatic, real bartender I've ever served. It always proposes fun drinks options and ensures that its customers are fully satisfied. I would definitely recommend coming to this bar if you want a good night.
Was a great place! Albany tradition. Was told it changed owners a few days ago and as a result some menu items changed (not for the good). The fries which were originally amazing and some of the best in Albany were replaced with crinkle cut fries that taste like they came straight from the freezer, unseasoned. Hope the new ownership can maintain the same quality that made this place work so well for years. Servers still seem to be amazing, though it looks like new bartenders are in place. Drink specials still good, but don’t strip away good things from your menu.
Great to hangout during the weekends especially when it’s Tuesday, because they have $1 pint beer if you care to drink. This pub is not that big, but good enough to just hang out with a few friends over food and drinks. When it’s your birthday, they give you a bottle of champagne to celebrate, so you leave this place happy. The food is good and the platter is always full, so no need to worry about feeling hungry. Prices are fair and not too expensive. Will definitely go back here for some amazing burgers, especially the blue cheese burger.
At present, the normal menu is greatly reduced, which is why I only gave three star. It is down to mostly burgers and pizza, but I must say the burgers and fries were good, with a selection of cheeses, great buns, lettuce, tomato, and onions; I had mine with cheddar, bacon, and mustard. Also, despite the middling rating, the bartender/server who waited on us was very friendly and attentive. The draft beer offerings were a bit limited, but the Sam Adam's Winter Brew was very nice.

There’s a bouncer at T’s. He is tall with a beard, and sometimes wears glasses. Not only did he claim I stole my ID, he also would not let in any of my very well over 21 year old friends into the bar because they were out of state. I also heard he was being racist to one of my friends at the bar. I also know for a fact he lets in people that he sees all the time, he also doesn’t make them pay. If you don’t feel like being ridiculed and judged, don’t go to this bar
I just started going to Washington happen which is now called blessings which I go everyone's days for their wing special $5 wings for 10 wings which is awesome I also know a couple of the DJs that DJ's there nice and mellow even though a few college kids are there but no big deal I still have a good time when I go
Dollar beer night is rage. The food here is wonderful. Keep for a beer during the day when it is not busy and enjoy a damn good meal and any drink that makes you happy. All staff are friendly and the bar offers know what they do, all good moods. College evenings can be crazy, but still fun and friendly
Filip and Alfredo are the best bartenders ever! They immediately greet me with warm smiles and let me feel welcome. Best green teas I've ever had. Always an explosion in The Washington Tavern!

I love Washington Tavern!!! All employees here are amazing, but Sarah is the Besttttt. My friends and I come here almost every day and are never disappointed!
