Wassail Wine Bar - Reserva de mesa

Went here with 3 friends last night. The positives are that it's a great addition to Prospect Rd and the place has been decorated in a lovely way so as to make you feel like you're in a quirky friend's home. Lovely touches everywhere you look. Gorgeous outside area for when it's warm. My friends and I went for a light dinner, a few glasses of wine and to enjoy the live music. The music was ok, and quite appropriate for the mostly 40yo+ set that frequented that night. But they were so loud in the main room, that we moved to the courtyard where we could talk and still enjoy the music. Choice of wines was great. The major downfall of this place is the food. My friend had been there twice before...

We visited on a Thursday night and were charmed by the little band of "rainbow people" singing familiar Irish (and other) tunes, accompanying themselves on guitars, a tin flute and brush drum. There is a good wine choice and moderately priced (House wine is $5) and the staff (and some of the regulars) helped us select great ones. The tasting platter and cheese platter went down well ( we missed dinner). We had such a fabulous time, we revisited on Saturday night, when we grooved to semi-oldies a la the vibrant guitar and smooth tones of Brian Dodderidge. Great atmosphere with lots of different rooms to sit in. Love the old antique furnishings-reminds me of home in the country. Very cosy. Live music on some nights. Great to try some good 'ol south aussie wines-all of which were beautiful. Food simple but enjoyable. Staff excellent.

This quaint place is filled with eclectic items scattered throughout; really interesting. All drinks on offer are sourced in South Australia and the food is tasty. We missed out on the live music so intend on returning soon.

A treasure house right on Prospect Road, this wine bar has a welcoming atmosphere, good wine, and a lovely menu to tick all the boxes for a great night out. Check out the forward planning for band names coming up.

Had a glass of Pinot grid and some olives while having a quick chat with friend. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of room, cozy fires. Great addition to lovely neighbourhood.

Awesome afternoon of great music and company. Fantastic band and was nice to hear songs from our era.
