The dinner was fantastic and the service was exceptional! I was taken here for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed. The appetizers were outstanding, the candied speck is a must-try. My bacon-wrapped filet was perfectly prepared and my partner said that his bison steak was also exceptional. Others in our party ordered the salmon, seafood pasta, and a chicken dish. Everyone was pleased with their choices. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate torte and the crème brûlée. My only small complaint was the bed of potatoes that my filet arrived on. Best meal I’ve had in Helena. The bone in rib-eye was amazing, and enough for both of us, however I was turned off by their $20 split plate fee to share the entree. You have to try the candied bacon! Twice baked potato was the best I’ve ever had. Finished off with crème brûlée, delicious with nice amount of orange zest in it. Highly recommend this place.
We sat on the patio and it was lovely. As it started to cool down they provided lap blankets and overhead heating. The food was very good and plentiful. My individual price reflects appetizer, salad, entree, desert and 2 drinks. So you can have an expansive special occasion meal here or a casual bite. I will definitely go back.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were very impressed. The food was excellent - I had the steak and my wife had the seafood. The appetizer was delicious and both of our main dishes were amazing. The waitress was also fantastic. We will definitely be returning to try some other dishes on the menu.
Thoughtful menu with exciting and complimentary flavors!! Had the duck breast and rosemary risotto. Yum! Very neat atmosphere, filled with historical and local touches. We had a great experience for a intimate birthday celebration!
