Waterside Inn - Reservar una mesa

This is a superfluous review. All has been said before. Simply superb and everything a 3 start should be. Welcoming, professional and superb food. And the fixed price lunch at £65 is a steal for food of this caliber. Stunning cheese soufflé followed by pan fried cod and langoustine tail. Followed by cheese. Do have an aperitif on the deck overlooking the Thames if weather permits. The village of Bray must have the highest per capita 3 star restaurants in the world, as is the home of the Fat Duck in addition to the long time home of the Brothers Roux who have made the Waterside their home for over 30 years.

I usually understand that I visited hotel restaurants. they managed to be consistently underwhelming. Finally, the logic seems to be when they have an imprisoned audience for their eating, why are they trying to deliver an excellent product? but I had heard that the waterside inn has hit this trend. instead of a hotel with a restaurant that was screwed on, it was vice versa. a hotel built around a restaurant so that they come for eating and then maybe spend a night on the land.
